Immunologist and cytometrist with expertise in ultra high parameter panel design, fluorophore and antibody testing, data analysis and visualization (tSNE, UMAP, FlowSOM, etc.), machine learning, experimental design and mouse models of disease. After receiving my PhD at the University of Cambridge, I did my postdoctoral training at Boston Children's Hospital where I became a member of the Harvard Medical School faculty. I now work as a staff scientist at the Babraham Institute in Cambridge, England. I have expertise in immune regulation and dysregulation, including autoimmunity, allergies, disease and homeostasis. I've specialized in understanding immune responses in the tissues, recently including neuroimmunology. I have deep technical expertise in the design and development of flow cytometry assays, and can design ultra-high parameter flow panels if desired. I can offer data analysis and visualization (tSNE, FlowSOM, UMAP, etc.) as well as machine learning-based approaches for understanding connections in the data. I have experience testing antibodies and novel fluorophores for use in complex flow cytometry assays. I can provide optimized approaches for intracellular, intranuclear, phospho and other challenging flow cytometry assays.
