I am a PhD-trained educational researcher, consultant, and innovation leader with more than 30 years of experience across K–12 education, higher education, STEM education, talent development, artificial intelligence, psychosocial learning, program evaluation, and grant-funded initiatives. I hold a Doctor of Philosophy in Special Education, a Doctoral Certificate in Qualitative Research, a Master’s degree in Gifted and Talented Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Language Arts Education from The University of Alabama. My expertise includes qualitative research, program evaluation, grant writing, academic writing and editing, literature reviews, research synthesis, educational innovation, talent development, STEM education, AI integration, curriculum development, and professional learning. I have contributed to federally funded research initiatives, co-authored peer-reviewed publications, presented at national conferences, and collaborated with universities, school districts, nonprofit organizations, and community partners. I am the creator of the THRIVE Framework and THRIVEAI, innovative models integrating talent development, psychosocial competencies, executive functioning, and artificial intelligence to improve learner outcomes and workforce readiness. In 2026, I was recognized as the winner of the State of Mississippi Presidential AI Challenge for this work. I enjoy helping clients with grant proposals, research design, qualitative analysis, academic editing, program evaluation, educational consulting, AI-related educational projects, professional development content, and research-to-practice initiatives.
