Food technologist with an M.Tech in Food Technology and a background in biotechnology, with experience spanning academic research, food product development and food safety management. My postgraduate work at Anna University involved developing a ready-to-bake black rice flour cake mix as a functional food product. I also gained biological research experience through a project on C. elegans stress response at CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute. Professionally, I work at F&B Ventures supporting product trials and later overseeing food safety practices across restaurant outlets. I also have working knowledge of regulatory frameworks under the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. I provide research support for food R&D projects including literature reviews, ingredient innovation and comparison, nutritional and regulatory research, product benchmarking, food trend analysis, survey and consumer feedback analysis, packaging and food preservation research, and research data labeling.
