I am a recent graduate of Biochemistry and Medical Cell Biology with a wide range of knowledge. My thesis was optimizing CRISPR control and targeting for microbiome control, which was then included in a NatComm paper linked below. I have job experience with infectious bacteria and fungi, development of an infection model, -and experimental planning. Familiarity with growth and maintenance of cell cultures, cell staining procedures, performing PCR, plasmid mini-preps, gel electrophoresis, yeast assembly, construct design, gene cloning, and preparation of samples for sequencing. I am proficient in literature searches and have access to a wide array of databases. I am highly detail-oriented and have a strong work ethic.
