I am a virologist and immunologist passionate about research in infectious diseases and public health. My passion and enthusiasm for my work ensures that I deliver quality projects within required time-frames, which benefits clients who appreciate quality. I have worked with a lot of different viruses such as Influenza virus, Rabies virus, Rotavirus, Dengue virus, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), and am trained in biosafety practices required for handling such infectious pathogens. My doctoral research involved the investigation of an immunological perspective of the influenza virus infection in humans. Scientific articles based on my research have been authored by me and published in scientific journals. I have taught and trained students and medical professionals in the field of biotechnology, molecular biology, virology, and biosafety practices. I have considerable experience in designing research projects, writing grant proposals, and mentoring inspiring researchers. I freelance as a scientific writer, editor, science communicator, and consultant specializing in (but not limited to) Virology, Immunology, and Molecular Biology. Reading, science writing, teaching, and inspiring research is what I love doing and hope to continue getting opportunities for the same!
