I am a doctorate with 11+ years of interdisciplinary research experience in biophysics, molecular biology, immunology and cell biology. Post Ph.D., I have an experience working as a Scientist in a biopharmaceutical industry where I provided analytical support for the characterisation of biosimilars. For my dissertation, I worked to understand the functional aspects of nucleic acid secondary structure G-quadruplex in mRNA. I characterised this structure biophysically, unravelled its role in cellular conditions using molecular cloning, cell based assays and also studied its interaction with small molecules/peptides. I have also worked with miRNAs and various proteins.
