I am a health information professional passionate about evidence-based research and medical writing. I have 10 years of experience conducting and managing health, dental, and public policy research for various organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), where I am a Research Manager. In this role, I lead the development of technical briefs, clinical practice guidelines, and systematic reviews, using the Evidence-Based Medicine and GRADE frameworks. My research has been used to advocate for oral healthcare access in a congressional hearing on oral health disparities. I also educate AAPD members and researchers on evidence-based practice through articles, guidelines, and training.
