As a scientist, I bring ten years of experience in systems biology and translational oncology research with hands on experience of working with different high throughput omics platforms including NanoString, Agilent, Affymetrix and Illumina. My research has spanned the all aspects of the genomics pipeline including experimental design, sample preparation and purification, data processing, acquisition and advanced bioinformatics analyses. These include data acquisition and analyses software platforms like nSolver, GeneSpring GX, Transcriptome Analysis Console (TAC), Ingenuity Pathway Analysis and MetaCore. More recently, I successfully completed immunosequencing-based T-cell receptor (TCR) profiling of patient blood and tumor samples as part of an ongoing clinical trial on the MiSeq Platform. My extensive experience in preclinical cancer models and Patient-Derived Xenograft (PDX) models led me to create a novel chicken egg-based cancer model. Spearheading rapid concept-product transition, I developed three main products Ovotar (PDX models), Ovivo (2D-3D modeling of cell lines) and OvoQuest (Custom Bioassays) based on customer segmentation analytics data from the TMC. Presently, I work as Director of Patient-Derived Xenograft and Advanced In Vivo Models Core at the Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) to offer these products and services within Texas Medical Center (TMC).
