I am a highly experienced Biostatistician, Data Scientist, and Statistical Analyst with over 20 years of professional experience in public health research, epidemiology, clinical data analysis, artificial intelligence, and advanced statistical modeling. I hold a PhD in Biostatistics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with First Class Honors. Over the years, I have worked with leading research and public health institutions, including Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where I have supported large-scale health programs through data analysis, surveillance systems, monitoring and evaluation, and operational research. In addition to my public health and research background, I also work with Micro1 as a Statistics and AI Training Expert, where I contribute to AI model evaluation, data annotation, prompt engineering, technical assessments, and training workflows involving statistical reasoning, machine learning, and analytical problem-solving. This experience has strengthened my expertise in artificial intelligence applications, model evaluation, data quality assessment, and human-in-the-loop AI systems. My expertise includes statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, epidemiological research, survey data analysis, clinical research analytics, dashboard development, and data visualization. I am highly proficient in R, SAS, Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and GIS-based analytical tools. I have extensive experience handling complex datasets, including longitudinal data, health surveillance data, environmental datasets, and national survey data. I have led and contributed to numerous research and analytical projects involving HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, environmental health, air pollution, hospital performance indicators, migration and refugee health, and health management information systems. My recent work includes developing predictive models for mortality risk among people living with HIV, analyzing environmental pollution impacts on health outcomes using Generalized Additive Models (GAMs) and Negative Binomial models, and designing interactive dashboards and geospatial visualizations for decision support.
