Hi! I'm Rita and I recently became a PhD! I've worked many years in the neurosciences field, trying to bridge the gap between the nervous system and the immune system. I master several scientific techniques (e.g. flow cytometry, in vivo work, data analysis, etc.) but I'm also good at organizing/designing/managing experimental and non-experimental work, preparing slide decks and presentations and good at writing reviews/assays for scientific and non-scientific audiences. In addition to my experience obtained in academia, I've spent a year at one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world, Eli Lilly and Company. Currently, I'm working in a CRO in Portugal generating antibodies.
