I have over 7 years of experience in biological research with specialisation in neuroscience. My main research focus has been to study the neurotransmitter release and understanding the nanostructures of specialised chemical synapses in the sensory systems. As a part of my research training, I have developed expertise in: • Solving challenging scientific questions independently or as a part of a collaborative team • Designing and conducting experiments by incorporating techniques like transmission electron microscopy (TEM and TEM-tomography), light microscopy: (fluorescent and confocal) and other high-resolution imaging methods like STED microscopy • Data analysis and experimental troubleshooting • Scientific writing and editing • Training students • Disseminating my research through talks and posters during conferences and workshops
