I am a computational neuroscientist with over 10 years of experience developing data-driven solutions for complex biomedical challenges, including epilepsy prediction and Down syndrome neural characterization. With a PhD in Physics (summa cum laude) and extensive postdoctoral training across multiple international research institutions, I specialize in transforming neural data into actionable insights for healthcare applications. Research Expertise & Current Projects: Currently, I'm developing multiscale biophysical models of primary motor cortex (M1) that integrate behavioral data with low-dimensional neural manifolds. My work involves calibrating detailed computational models using Neuropixels recordings and creating digital twins of brain circuits. I'm also investigating how genetic mutations (ScN2A channelopathies) affect neural dynamics and developing spinal cord interneuron models for motor rehabilitation applications.
