I am an experimental Condensed matter Physicist and has worked extensively on strongly correlated electron systems (Multiferriocs, Superconductors, magneto-caloric materials, etc) . The work involved material synthesis by solid state reaction route (polycrystalline) and various solvothermal methods (single crystalline); material characterization by techniques like XRD, SEM (with EDS), EPMA, Raman spectroscopy, SQUID, PPMS, transport and and pyroelectric measurement of the grown materials. Also have been involved in design and installation of few in-house set-up (sample holder and Laue set-up) and have experience in refining magnetic structure obtained from neutron diffraction. Have worked on development project of developing non-magnetic goniometer for dilution refrigerators during my stint as post doc at Paul Scherrer Institute.
