I, hold a PhD in Engineering Design (OptoMechatronics) from IIT Madras, supported by the Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF). My research specializes in laser-assisted trace gas sensing, encompassing broadband photoacoustic spectroscopy, quartz-enhanced photoacoustic spectroscopy (QEPAS), and hollow-core fiber-based absorption spectroscopy, with applications in environmental monitoring and human breath analysis as biomarkers. With over ten years of research and teaching experience at IIT Madras and NIT Trichy, and hands-on expertise in optical system design, mechatronics, and instrumentation, I combine deep technical knowledge with strong research communication skills.
