Detail-oriented and methodical research scientist with a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology. I have strong theoretical and practical foundation in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Biochemistry. I have 7+ years of experience in research methods, from project conception and setup to publication; designing and troubleshooting protocols; image and data analysis with ImageJ, MetaMorph, and R; biostatistics, data analysis, and presentation with GraphPad and Origin; making data publication-ready; and writing research articles, reviews, and grants. During my PhD, I managed four projects simultaneously with tight deadlines and changing priorities, delivering results, with two projects published in major journals. Technical expertise: • Molecular Biology techniques: Planning cloning and vector/plasmid design using SnapGene and Benchling; Gibson cloning, restriction cloning, site-directed mutagenesis. • Protein purification techniques: Designing purification protocols for protein purification; Protein expression in mammalian and bacterial systems, batch purification with Twin Strep tag, Immobilized metal chelate affinity chromatography (IMAC) purification, Collaboration in SEC-MALS and HPLC. • Protein characterization: SDS-PAGE, BCA, and Western blotting, in vitro protein and drug titration assays, designing screening assays for Cryo-EM. • Cell and Molecular Biology Techniques: Immunofluorescence and immunoprecipitation, transient transfection using FuGENE, PEI, and Lipofectamine. • Data Analysis: ImageJ, MetaMorph, GraphPad Prism, Imaris, Origin, and structure analysis with AlphaFold. • Protocol Documentation and Project Management: OneNote, SnapGene, Benchling, and XMind. • Microscopy Techniques: TIRFM, FRAP, Widefield, and Confocal microscopy. • Writing, copy-editing, and reviewing research articles, reviews, and grant proposals. • Making figures with Adobe Illustrator
