I am an experienced researcher in chemical biology, protein biochemistry and drug discovery, especially with peptides and proteins. I have worked on a range of state-of-the-art projects, both academic and industrial, to discover new targeted therapies and novel-acting drugs, ranging from small molecules to peptides and mini-proteins. Reflected in +10 international publications. I am proficient in synthetic chemistry, solid-phase synthesis, purification methods (HPLC, affinity chromatography) and analytical tools (HPLC, mass spectromatry, NMR). I have experience in protein expression, purification and conjugation strategies. I have worked with a wide range of biophysical techniques, such as SPR and SAW biosensors, circular dichroism, mass spectrometry, ITC, AlphaScreen and high-field NMR, to study protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions. In addition, I have worked with cell-based assays, CACO-2, MDCK and patient-derived cancer cells. Last but not least, I am experienced in computational algorithms such as Rosetta, Amber and Schrödinger, to design and predict the activity of peptides and small molecules.
