During my master studies, I have gained knowledge in gene cloning, cell culture, and Western blotting. My doctoral research focuses on understanding the importance and implementation of different DNA sequencing technologies and studying RAS/MAPK pathway. During my doctoral thesis, I have selected genes for targeted resequencing which might be the possible candidates for monogenic forms of non-syndromic ID/Short stature through various parameters and designed a gene panel. In my doctoral thesis, I have also designed a new protocol for library preparation on the Illumina system which gave promising results. My doctoral work was also focused on a group of diseases caused by somatic mosaic mutations in genes of the RAS signaling pathway and the functionally linked PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway.
