A scientist with exceptional track record of research program development and management, strong scientific problem solving skills, result oriented collaborative people skills and mentoring experience. I have extensive experience to leverage in the combined areas of cell biology, single cell molecular biology, molecular biology, biochemistry and bioinformatics. Currently focusing on cardiac regeneration to develop future heart failure treatment options, which is supported by a competitive research grant in the Harvard Medical School System. A regular contributor to success of others through scientific review of research in high impact journals. At present my research focused on identification of novel regulators of cardiomyocyte proliferation as regenerative therapies for heart failure. I have worked on Understanding molecular mechanisms of cardiomyocytes proliferation and differentiation. As a Postdoctoral research fellow at Oak Ridge National Lab and University of Tennessee I had studied the involves delineating the role of serine/threonine kinase in signal transduction using bioinformatics.As a postdoctoral research at cardiovascular division, Harvard Medical School, BIDMC, Boston, MA, Feb 2007- Jan 2011 I worked on understanding the mechanisms of caspase independent apoptosis in heart failure. During my PhD research project at department of Pharmacology, EMAU Greifswald, Germany): Feb 2003 – Jan2007 I Identification of cardiac autoantigen in dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). To find biomarkers in DCM patients, I had established a detail method to study antigen antibody interaction by Biacore.
