An independent epidemiological consultant, currently advising groups and companies on best practices and risk management for reopening amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic. Some of the groups that I have consulted for during this pandemic include teen adventure education programs, summer camps, professional sporting teams, and cruise lines. Detailed knowledge of public health emergency planning and response, risk management and communication, science education, and planetary health. Previous work experience with Harvard University, the US Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization. Received honors for outstanding support and leadership in CDC's response to the Ebola epidemic in West Africa, 2014-2015, by the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases. Holding a Masters of Science in the Control of Infectious Diseases from The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a BA in Global Health, Anthropology and Ethics from Dartmouth College.
