I am an experienced scientist with over 15 years of experience in both academic and industrial settings. I started my career at GlaxoSmithKline where I was a Study Director in Genetic Toxicology within Preclinical Safety Assessment. I completed my PhD in DNA damage response signalling in the Genome Damage and Stability Centre at the University of Sussex. My postdoctoral career began at the Sussex Drug Discovery Centre with a focus on oncology targets. My main area of interest was in targeting DNA repair proteins to identify new therapies for the treatment of cancer.
