I am a PhD researcher at Indian Institute of Technology Ropar specializing in groundwater modeling, porous media flow, and numerical simulation of partial differential equations (PDEs). My work focuses on developing analytical and numerical solutions for complex groundwater flow and transport problems in heterogeneous aquifers. I have extensive experience using COMSOL Multiphysics and MATLAB to model coupled processes in porous media, including transient groundwater flow, depth-dependent hydraulic conductivity, and time-dependent boundary conditions. My research integrates analytical modeling, numerical simulation, and verification of computational models, ensuring that simulation results are physically consistent and mathematically validated. In addition to groundwater modeling, I have experience in: Numerical solution of PDE-based engineering models Porous media flow and transport simulation Particle tracking and transport analysis in groundwater systems Sensitivity and uncertainty analysis of hydrological models I am particularly interested in collaborating on projects related to groundwater hydrology, environmental modeling, multiphysics simulation in porous media, and scientific computing. I can assist with developing simulation models, implementing custom physics in COMSOL, debugging numerical models, and validating computational results with theoretical analysis.
