I am a proficient polymer scientist and a rheologist with more than 15 years of industrial experience and excellent academic records. I have extensive experience in leading rheological, thermal and texture analysis and emulsion characterizations projects specific to food product/process developments. I am well versed in use of rheological, textural and thermal analysis tools to investigate how food macromolecules; proteins, polysaccharides and lipids are structured within a food matrix to build desired food texture and shelf stability. I have in depth knowledge and hands on experience in laboratory techniques related to characterizing polymeric materials including linear/nonlinear viscoelastic characterization, extensional rheology, capillary rheometry, tribo-rheometry, thermal analysis (Thermogravimetric Analysis, Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Dynamic Mechanical Analysis, Thermo Mechanical Analysis, Dielectric Thermal Analysis, Dynamic Vapor Sorption Analysis), FTIR, GPC, microcalorimetry, spectrophotometry, particle size distribution analysis. I have proven expertise in using the rheological and thermal analysis measurements to build structure-property-performance-processing relationships and translate it to specific product/process needs.
