I worked in the field of Immunology and vaccinology during my PhD. Here, my work focussed on testing novel vaccine candidates in animal models of leishmaniasis. During this period, i gained experience in molecular cloning, Recombinant protein purification, Flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, cell culture and cellular assays. I submitted my doctoral thesis after publishing research and review articles in international journals. I worked in collaborative research projects as well. Also, during my postgraduate dissertation, I worked on elucidating the potential of natural compounds as genoprotective agents and designing in silico strategies for finding novel vaccine candidates.
