I am a dedicated scientist with extensive experience in advanced cell engineering and genome editing, having worked in CRISPR-based biotech companies for the past two and a half years. My work has focused on editing established cell lines derived from a wide range of tissues, including the brain, muscle, skin, lung, heart, liver, stomach, pancreas, intestine, and blood. In addition, my technical expertise includes confocal imaging and neuronal morphology analysis, as well as identifying developmental and disease-related signaling pathways through genetic analysis. I have a strong foundation in molecular biology techniques, encompassing DNA, RNA, and protein analysis, and am proficient in bacteria and cell culture methods. I completed my Ph.D. in Neuroscience, and my postdoctoral training focused on neural development and neuroregeneration. I am dedicated to improving human health, and my research involves identifying molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative and autoimmune disorders. I have led 4 different neuroscience projects since graduate school, and I independently discovered cellular functions for a conserved autoimmune risk gene and identified key genes required for the efficient generation of neurons from non-neuronal cells. I authored and co-authored 13 publications in leading journals such as Curr Biol, J Cell Biol, Development, and PNAS. My strong will to learn, passion for discovery, and ability to work well in a team drive my continuous pursuit of excellence in science and innovation.
