I am a Geospatial Data Scientist and PhD researcher in Geomatics Engineering with a multidisciplinary academic background in Geological Engineering, Applied Geology and geospatial data science. My work focuses on the analysis and modelling of environmental and geohazard processes using GIS, remote sensing, machine learning and spatial data analytics. I have extensive experience in processing and interpreting geospatial data from satellite, terrain and environmental sources for scientific research and applied consultancy. My technical expertise includes GIS-based spatial analysis, remote sensing, susceptibility and risk modelling, spatial database preparation, feature engineering, map production and the development of reproducible analytical workflows in Python. I work with tools and libraries such as Python, NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Engine and other geospatial processing environments. My previous and ongoing research projects include landslide susceptibility modelling, snow avalanche susceptibility assessment, flood hazard analysis, InSAR-based deformation monitoring, climate change impact assessment and ecosystem-based disaster risk reduction. In these studies, I have applied machine learning and deep learning methods, explainable AI approaches such as SHAP and spatial modelling frameworks to generate robust and interpretable results for both academic and decision-support purposes. In addition to research, I contribute to technical reporting, scientific writing, proposal development and project documentation for national and international projects, including EU-funded assignments. I am particularly interested in projects involving natural hazards, climate risk, environmental monitoring, land use and land cover change analysis, remote sensing-based modelling and spatial decision support. I can support clients with geospatial data analysis, GIS mapping, remote sensing workflows, machine learning applications for environmental problems, scientific/technical reporting and research-oriented consultancy.
