I hold a Master’s degree in Biology with a specialization in Microbiology and have experience across academic, industrial, and applied research environments. My background includes laboratory research in microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry, cell biology, environmental biotechnology, and bioprocess-related systems. I have worked in both research and GMP/GLP-regulated environments, gaining strong experience in structured laboratory workflows, scientific documentation, and data interpretation. My research experience includes an internship at Khondrion B.V. (Nijmegen), where I worked on cancer cell culture models involving experimental design, cell culture maintenance, data collection, analysis, and interpretation of experimental results. I also worked at MSD Animal Health (Boxmeer) in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment, supporting bioprocess activities, bioreactor-based cell culture systems, SOP-based laboratory workflows, and process monitoring. Currently, I work part-time as an Applied Research Adviser at Exelor v.o.f., where I coordinate research-related projects, manage scientific data, support publication and grant-writing activities, and advise students on research methodology, scientific writing, and academic development. I also conduct workshops focused on research skills and scientific communication. My technical expertise includes bacterial, cell, and virus culture, bioprocessing, bioreactor systems, experimental design, scientific writing, data analysis, and interpretation of structured datasets. I have experience applying statistical approaches to experimental data analysis, including descriptive statistics, comparison of experimental groups, and trend analysis. In addition to my practical research experience, I have contributed to two cited peer-reviewed publications and am currently involved in a review manuscript under evaluation.
