Experimental biologist and immunologist with 7+ years of research experience. I am highly enthusiastic about exploring new ideas, strongly believe in teamwork and looking for exciting opportunities. I specialize in molecular and immunological research in respiratory diseases such as asthma and lung fibrosis. I have worked extensively on identifying non-coding RNAs in cellular and mouse disease models of asthma and developed hands-on expertise in primary tissue cultures, immunological assays, molecular biology techniques and high throughput next generation genomic methodologies like RNA-Seq. My current research utilizing transgenic mice focuses on unraveling the functions of a cluster of genes on chromosome 17, which are believed to be genetically important in asthma.
