She has an educational and professional background in Public Health, Biotechnology, Biomedical Genetics and Patient Advocacy. Swapna currently serves as the Head of Strategic Partnerships for a rare disease non-profit In India. She oversees project and program management, building stakeholder relationships, and strengthening health promotion resources for patients and their families. Being a caregiver herself, Swapna has accumulated enriching life experiences that augments her professional expertise. Swapna has served for over a decade in the field of Rare Diseases, Cancer care and Genetics by working in key managerial positions. She has also single-handedly spearheaded entrepreneurial venture through providing unique gifting solutions to the healthcare sector for their clients, and by setting up regional distribution network for cardiovascular stents. Swapna is also soon expecting to graduate with a Master of Public Health from the number school of public health @ Johns Hopkins in Health Systems and Policy.
