I was awarded Doctorate Degree in Computational Molecular Biology from Department of Biotechnology under Assam University Silchar, Assam, India in the year 2016. During my MSc period, I did a project on “Identification of Species Specific DNA marker as barcode sequence from Greater Indian One-horned Rhinoceros [Rhinoceros unicornis] from North-East India” and submitted to NCBI-GenBank database with accession no. JN417004 is the first COI barcode sequence of Rhinoceros unicornis [http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/jn417004]. I have published my research findings in International Journals having an overall impact factor of 40. Research interest on DNA Sequence based Analysis, Transcriptomic Analysis of Organisms, Evolutionary aspects of codon bias and DNA Barcoding of organisms.
