I am a biomedical researcher with experience in research paper publication, literature database establishment and grand application processes. Besides practical laboratory work I was able to gain experience in scientific writing by supervising master students, reviewing their working plan or giving thesis writing advice and corrections. My tasks also included coordinating large grand applications from multiple laboratory consortiums of many countries. In this context I reviewed the incoming contributions and put together one final document focussing on the required formatting standards by the grand offerers. In this time I realized that following the guideline of the receiving journal as well as establishing a strong literture database, is one of the most important steps in scientific writing. During my Thesis in Rwanda I had to independtly found a new project with a set deadline right from the start. The work also included setting the knowledge and literture foundation for future students. I also contributed to the writing of research papers in a professional scientific environment, from writing original texts to proofreading other contributions and correcting a paper after peer review processes.
