I spent my PhD studying the development of the nervous system. I developed a high-throughput technique to quantify neuron growth using microfluidics and quantitative microscopy. I developed my scientific and analytical programming with MATLAB and ImageJ. I use these tools to develop a high-throughput image analysis pipeline. Since completing my PhD, I decided to head down an entrepreneurial direction, running my own freelance business as a data scientist. I have since specialized further using the Python scientific stack, and have been following my passion for making data beautiful
