I have 20+ years of teaching experience with the background of Medicinal or Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry (Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences), Now working as a professor in the School of Pharmacy at KL University. I am an experienced researcher with a demonstrated history of working in academia and consultancy. I received my Ph.D. title in Pharmaceutical Sciences for the thesis entitled “Design, Synthesis, and Evaluation of anticancer agents as Targeting both Histone deacetylase and Ribonucleotide Reductase enzymes.”. I have got expertise in SBDD and LBDD, followed by Synthesis and Evaluation of Chemical compounds. Excellent knowledge of identifying, executing and trouble-shooting synthetic routes for target molecules and interpreting biological/biochemical characterization of target molecules in drug discovery I also have experience with using the Molecular modeling software such as Chem-Bio office, Chem sketch (ACD Lab), Mervin Sketch, Sybyl, Autodock, GOLD, vLlife MDS, Molegro Virtual Docker, Schrödinger. I had previous experience in developing novel analogs of various small heterocyclic compounds towards a specific target by using various tools like AutoDock, Molegro Virtual Docker, and Schrodinger. Skillful knowledge in searching literature using various search engines like Pubmed, Pubchem, Science direct, Google scholar, Patent search engines and etc. My strength is not only the computational development of chemical moieties, but also the designing of the feasible synthetic route, characterization of compounds, and in-vitro & in-vivo biological evaluation. I am an author of more than 50 valuable scientific papers and serving as a reviewer for prestigious international journals published by Elsevier, Wiley, Bentham, and Springer.
