I am a Virologist with extensive experience in Basic Research in the area of highly infectious pathogens. I am interested in understanding how viruses are transmitted, how they infect an individual or a cell, and how to prevent this. Besides, I am very enthusiastic about science communication and creating tools on how to make science friendly for everyone. After several years of working with international research teams, I have become very good at taking complex scientific concepts and convert them into a simple digestible message. This includes preparing content (reports, scientific papers, figures, presentations) for specialized and non-specialized audiences.
