I am a PhD-trained biologist and environmental scientist with over 15 years of experience in scientific research, environmental monitoring, data analysis, technical writing, and science communication. My research background spans biology, ecology, marine and environmental science, with particular experience in wildlife research, water quality, environmental monitoring, conservation science, and applied research. I have experience designing and implementing research projects, reviewing scientific literature, analyzing and interpreting data, developing research protocols, and translating complex scientific information into clear reports and recommendations. I can support clients with literature reviews and research synthesis, scientific and technical writing, manuscript and report editing, scientific fact-checking, data interpretation, research methodology, environmental research, and evidence-based reports. In addition to academic research, I have extensive experience applying science in nonprofit and community settings, including developing environmental monitoring programs, coordinating multidisciplinary projects, managing scientific datasets, preparing technical reports, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. I hold a PhD in Biology as well as MSc and BSc degrees and am fluent in English, French, and Spanish. I am highly organized and detail-oriented and particularly enjoy projects that require careful research, critical evaluation of scientific evidence, clear writing, and independent work.
