Research Professor Dr. Vasileios Margaritis is an awarded academic, and research methodology (quantitative and qualitative) and education consultant, having held positions with institutions such as Walden University, USA, and National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He also served as Vice Chair of Walden University's Research Curriculum and Academic Policy Committee. Further, he has been working as a research methodology consultant with national and international organizations.. He teaches or has taught Statistics (using R and SPSS statistical software), Advanced Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis, Research Methodology, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health Theoretical and Conceptual frameworks, Communication and Social Marketing and other research focused courses. His recent interests include Competitiveness & Innovation, Market Research, Behavioral Economics, Organizational Climate, Small Business Readiness, Health Statistics, Public Health, Modern Epidemiology (e.g. Propensity Score Methodology and Inverse Probability Weighting), Real World Evidence, Community Health Promotion and Education, Curriculum Development & Quality Assurance, and Mixed Methods Research Techniques. During his academic career, he has proven himself to be an exceptional doctoral studies (professional doctorate and PhD) supervisor of more than one hundred students. He has a track record of relevant international and national publications. Dr Margaritis has worked as a researcher and PI in community-based research settings in a variety of areas and has served as methodology/statistics expert in many of those projects. At Swiss School of Management, Dr Margaritis teaches research courses and supervises doctoral students.
