With my advanced expertise in fluid mechanics, hydraulics, and river engineering, I am confident that my skills and experience align well with the requirements for this role. My background includes extensive experience in computational modeling, experimental insights, and field-based approaches to address complex water-related challenges in hydraulics and river engineering. As a Ph.D. scholar at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, I have been actively involved in studying sediment transport mechanisms and developing sediment control strategies using innovative hydraulic structures like submerged vanes. I am proficient in CFD software like ANSYS Workbench and Flow-3D Hydro which I have used for various projects, including the numerical modeling of submerged vanes for sediment deflection and bridge pier scour mitigation. My work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. I was also honored with the best paper award on the theme “Fluvial Hydraulics” at the Hydro 2023 International Conference. I am eager to contribute my expertise in computational fluid dynamics and river engineering to impactful projects, academic learning, and research that blend practical implementation with scientific advancement.
