プロフィール概要

I design and illustrate infographics and illustrations for scientific journals and academic papers. I have experience in designing graphical abstracts. I work professionally as a Designer, illustrator, and comics artist. I am a Doctor in Design by PUC–Rio (2024), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I was a researcher linked to the research group "Experiências e Ambientes Interativos" at PUC–Rio. I have worked in the newspaper business for 8 years at major newspapers in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and brought this experience to my research during my master's in Design (2018), studying the challenges for illustrators adapting to the mobile-first and multiplatform editorial scenario in the transition from paper publishing. My PhD research reflected on digital media as a platform for drawing interactive stories, as comics, games, and animation may mix together in digital projects (2024). I currently work as an illustrator and designer at Fundação Cecierj, a Rio de Janeiro state foundation that provides free public distance education for undergraduate-level students.
