I, am a freelance Chemistry professional having a rich experience in analytical chemistry research and quality control lab operations of pharma and cosmetic active manufacturing industries. After completing my masters in Organic chemistry and advance analytical instrumentation chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, INDIA, which is one of the premier technical institute of India, I continued my educational journey in chemical research field from the same institute. I got Ph.D. degree in Organometallic Chemistry and worked on multidentate organotellurium ligands having N and S as other donor atoms and continued Post-Doctoral work in the same field and synthesized Platinum group metal complexes for potential hydrogenation catalysts. During my academic carrier I published fifteen research papers in international journals like, J. Org. Met. Chem., Polyhedron, Transition Met. Chem., ect. My first industrial exposure was in the Analytical Research Lab of an Agrochemical Industry, making organo-phosphorous pesticides and insect repellents like deltamethrin and cypermethrin, for about five years. Later I worked in a leading Polymer and Speciality Chemical Company’s R&D Centre in the reverse engineering section, where I mastered and gained excellent skills for the de-formulation of polymer formulations to monomer identification and composition of formulations using NMR, GCMS, Pyrolysis-GC, GPC, LCMS and XRD techniques. I also have about 10 years of experience at senior positions in Contract Research Labs which are supporting the customers for their specific need of regulatory filings, and their requirements of third party independent testing lab reports. I also have worked on and having rich experience in analytical method development, validations, solving complex analytical problems while working in Pharma and Cosmetic active manufacturing companies.
