I am a researcher and consultant in Bioinformatics, particularly in Functional Genomics and application/development of techniques and tools for large-scale data analysis of second and third generation DNA and RNA sequencing (genome/transcriptome assembly; RNA-Seq data analysis; Functional analysis; and others). I am a computer scientist with Ph.D. and post-doctorate in Biological Sciences, with an emphasis on transcriptomics of model and non-model organisms.
