I span clinical medicine and computational biology. I started as a Medical Doctor (Aga Khan University) and then deliberately re-oriented toward data science and genomics during the COVID pandemic, earning a 4.0 in the Biomedical Informatics Master's program at the University of Chicago. Since then I have applied machine learning to patient outcomes data, cancer genomics, and DNA biophysical features, with results published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology and Bioinformatics Advances. I am particularly experienced in transcriptomics pipelines (DESeq2, edgeR, Seurat), survival analysis, and predictive modeling in clinical datasets. I am also the founder of totem, where I build agentic data science tools for research teams working on sensitive or protected datasets. Available for bioinformatics analysis, pipeline development, ML modeling, and scientific consulting across life sciences.
