Profound experience in different separation technologies and processes, including membrane technology, membrane reactor, flotation, etc and surfactant/particle stabilized emulsions and foams. Strong background in polymers and polymer related materials, including hydrogels, polymer-inorganic composites, colloids, emulsion, responsive polymers and surface modification methods. Being familiar with a lot of characterization methods in chemistry, materials. Past research projects includes membrane surface modification for heavy metal adsorption, hollow fiber membrane to create chemical membrane reactor, gradient surface modification methods, magnetic particles modification to remove oil/grease from wiper recycling, enzymatic treatment to increase/decrease paper strength, bleach-boosting, drainage improvement.pitch control and deinking. My Ph.D. research focuses on the interface behavior (emulsion, foam, etc) and encapsulation of charged colloidal particles under external electric fields. Current I am working in the equipment supplier for food industry.
