I hold an M.D. from University of Medicine and Health Science and B.S. in Biomathematics (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Houston. I have served as Lead Biostatistician at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center collaborating with investigators at Harvard (MGH), John Hopkins, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and the Baylor College of Medicine. Significant experience in analyzing the largest cancer registry in America, the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program, served as expert statistical witness regarding fraud detection and prevention through mastery of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Public Use Files. Over 20 first-author manuscript publications in high-impact specialty journals including Nature, Ophthalmology, RETINA, Journal of the American College of Radiology (JACR), and the American Journal of Ophthalmology. First-authored the largest retrospective cohort analysis of patients diagnosed with retinoblastoma in the United States, invited peer-reviewer of several subspecialty journal, and received top remarks from Editor-in-Chief for statistical commentaries, public endorsement by senior biostatisticians with over 10 years of career experience.
